CSI PROGRAMS:

Ron Clark House System:

At China Spring Intermediate, we proudly use the Ron Clark House System to build a positive campus culture where every student feels connected and valued. Each student and staff member belongs to one of four houses that promote teamwork, leadership, character, and school spirit. Throughout the year, students earn House Points by demonstrating our campus expectations and values, participating in school activities, and supporting others. The House System helps create a sense of belonging while encouraging students to lead, serve, and celebrate one another.

Minga:

Minga is our campus student engagement platform that helps us manage hall passes, reward positive behavior, and communicate with students. Throughout the year, students can earn points for demonstrating our campus expectations, making positive choices, and participating in school activities. Those points can be used for incentives and special rewards. Minga also allows us to streamline digital hall passes, helping keep students safe and accountable while they're outside the classroom.

STAFF BIRTHDAYS FOR AUGUST:

  • 8/19: Mrs. Ingram - Cafe Manager

COUNSELOR CORNER:

The start of a new school year is the perfect time to establish routines that help students feel confident, organized, and ready to learn. Here are a few simple ways you can support your child at home:

  • Ease into an earlier bedtime so your child is well-rested and ready for the school day.

  • Keep a family calendar in a visible place with important school events, sports, concerts, and activities.

  • Build strong organizational habits by checking your child's take-home folder each evening and cleaning out their backpack regularly.

  • Help your future selves! Pack lunches the night before, lay out clothes for the next day, and encourage your child to complete a little homework each night to avoid last-minute stress and procrastination.

Small, consistent routines can make a big difference in helping students start the school year feeling prepared, responsible, and successful!
