HAPPENINGS:
FOOD DRIVE:
Our Fall Food Drive kicks off Monday, November 3rd, and runs through Tuesday, November 19th! Each grade level (5th and 6th) will have a winning class—the one that collects the most canned goods will earn a special prize! Let’s work together to support families in our district and community. We can’t wait to see how much we collect
UPCOMING FALL DANCE:
We’re excited to announce our Intermediate Fall Dance coming up on Wednesday, November 20th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Students will enjoy music, fun, and friends! Concessions will be available for purchase, and admission is $5 per ticket at the door.
To attend the dance, students must meet the following behavior expectations between November 3rd and November 19th:
- No more than 4 minor referrals
- No more than 1 major referral
- No ISS (In-School Suspension) during that time
We can’t wait to celebrate with our amazing students who continue to show great choices and school spirit!
CHINA SPRING ISD VATRE MEASURES:
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4. The proposed total tax rate is $0.98192, which is 3.7 cents lower than last year's rate. If voters approve the VATRE, it will provide about $2.16 million in additional annual funding for our schools, while still keeping the overall school tax rate lower than last year.
Visit the CSISD VATRE website to find a complete list of early voting locations and hours, and review a copy of the ballot for McLennan and Bosque counties: HERE
CLASSLINK:
ClassLink is our district’s single sign-on platform that gives students one secure place to log in and access all of their digital learning resources, programs, and more without needing multiple passwords.
- Here is the link to get to Classlink: https://login.classlink.com/my/csisd
- All students have their log in for the website
DRESS CODE CHANGE:
CSISD has made a change to the dress code below:
Hemlines on all dresses, skirts, and shorts must not be shorter than mid-thigh length (from the shortest part of the garment) and must also ensure full coverage of the buttocks and/or undergarments at all times, including when sitting, standing, walking, or bending. Students should be able to participate in all regular school activities without risk of exposing any part of the buttocks or undergarments. Shorts may not be rolled up at the waistline. When wearing shorts, the shorts must be visible.
Students are expected to be in dress code according the district policy. Students will be given the opportunity to rectify their dress if they are out of code. Students who do not rectify will be sent to ISS until their dress is back in code. To view the dress code policy please CLICK HERE.

- Daily attendance ~ Attendance is taken every day at 9:30AM. Your student must be on campus at this time to be counted present for the day.
- When absent ~ Only 4 days total per semester can be excused by a PARENT NOTE (parent signed excuse). For all absences exceeding 4, a doctor's note or other formal documentation is required. - All excuse notes must be turned in to the Front Office within 3 school days of the student’s absence.
- If your child will not be at school, please let our attendance clerk, Mrs. Fulton, know at afulton@chinaspringisd.net
