Tacky Christmas Sweater Day

On December 9th, we would like everyone to put on their best Tacky Christmas Sweater to celebrate the upcoming Holidays.  Be as creative as you can, but always remember CSI’s Dress Code. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

All kids have been adopted!  Thank you for being such a caring community.  However, there are still opportunities to help.  We are having a work night on December 6th from 6-8pm - all ages are welcome!  Then our event will be on Sunday, December 11th with two shifts - from 2-4 and 4-6.  We need volunteers to help provide cookies and to come help the families “shop” for warm clothes and pick up their gifts.  Below are links to all the ways you can help make this a wonderful day for so many kids.

DodgeBall Tournament

It’s that time of year again! Our annual dodgeball tournament will begin December 12th. The Championship will be held on December 15th at 2:00.  All forms that are required for your student to play in the tournament were sent out the week before Thanksgiving Break. All required forms were due no later than Thursday, December 1st!  There was a fee of $3.00 for each student wanting to participate.  All profits from the tournament will go towards new equipment for the gym and/or the community park/playground.

Box Tops for Education

We have raised over $750.00 this fall collecting Box Tops. That is $750.00 that goes directly to your child's homeroom teacher and is used directly for classroom use! Help us continue collecting Box Tops for even more money for your child's classroom in the spring!

Reading Igloo

Our school is working on creating a fun reading environment for your child.  For that to happen, we need your help.  Please bring any CLEANED OUT milk jugs to aide in the creation of our “Reading Igloo”. Thanks for your help!

If you student wears pants that DO NOT have pockets, their shirt but go below their bottom in the front and the back. It does not need to be finger-tip length, but it does need to go past their rear.

Make donations in our World Wear Collection Bin at Griff’s and near our Gaga Ball pit!! This bin will earn us extra money all year long for every pound donated. Lots of items can be donated including clothing, shoes, belts, purses, wallets, hats, backpacks, toys, stuffed animals, and pots and pans. So make time to get those donations in!

There are currently a lot of lunchboxes, water bottles, books, & binders on the lost & found table, and also jackets & coats hanging in the hallway waiting on their owners. The cold weather has begun, so make sure your student has their winter wear! Please remind your child to check the Lost & Found often, as items are donated at the end of every six weeks.
