Trivia Question

In this Friday’s (November 11th) announcements, the Trivia question is to challenge the students to bring (or email) a picture from Thanksgiving Break that shows something they are thankful for. We are going to make a “We are Thankful…” wall.

8th Annual Jingle Bell Run

Saturday, December 3rd the CSISD Education Foundation will be hosting the 8th annual Family Jingle Bell Run at The Lake Country Club. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the China Spring ISD Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds to promote educational excellence in CSISD. All participants will receive a T-Shirt & Goodie Bag.  Please take a look at the flyer for additional information & fill out the registration form here:

Food for Families

This year’s Food for Families drive was very successful! CS Intermediate collected more than the Middle School & High School. We have a more definite number when we return from Thanksgiving Break.  Thanks for all your help!

DodgeBall Tournament

It’s that time of year again! Our annual dodgeball tournament will begin December 5th. The Championship will be held on December 15th at 2:00.  All forms that are required for your student to play in the tournament were sent out the week before Thanksgiving Break. All required forms will be due no later than Thursday, December 1st!  There will be a fee of $3.00 for each student wanting to participate.  All profits from the tournament will go towards new equipment for the gym and/or the community park/playground.  Just in case the forms didn’t make it to you, here is what the PE Coaches sent home:

Box Tops for Education

We have raised over $750.00 this fall collecting Box Tops. That is $750.00 that goes directly to your child's homeroom teacher and is used directly for classroom use! Help us continue collecting Box Tops for even more money for your child's classroom in the spring!

Reading Igloo

Our school is working on creating a fun reading environment for your child.  For that to happen, we need your help.  Please bring any CLEANED OUT milk jugs to aide in the creation of our “Reading Igloo”. Thanks for your help!

4th/5th UIL Competition

Thursday, Dec. 8, 4th & 5th grade UIL participants will be competing at Victorious Life Church in Waco.  They will leave about 8:30 that morning, and return before school is out.

There are currently a lot of lunchboxes, water bottles, books, & binders on the lost & found table, and also jackets hanging in the hallway waiting on their owners. Please remind your child to check the Lost & Found often, as items are donated at the end of every six weeks.
