Fun for the Whole Family on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at St. Philip Catholic Church Oktoberfest Celebration.  Lots of activities including authentic German Meal, hot dogs, silent auction, arts & crafts, bake sale and much more!  Attached is a flyer with all of the information

Book Fair

The China Spring Intermediate Fall Book Fair will be held the week of October 17th thru the 21st. Volunteers are needed in order to make this happen. If you are interested in helping, please email Mrs. Lafferty at

We’ve pushed back the Volunteer Work Day to this Saturday. If you would like to help paint our playground, we need YOU!! Our painting day will be Saturday, October 8, from 8:30 – 11:30. If you are interested in helping, please click the link below to sign up.


This is the last week, of the PTA fundraiser for this school year. Students are encouraged to sell items and earn prizes. This money will benefit our PTA which will be given directly back to the Intermediate campus ONLY. Thank you for helping our school, even so close to the fundraiser we just hosted. All money and orders are due Friday, October 7th. Our students thank you!   

2016 CSHS Cheer Clinic

Please join the China Spring High School Cheerleaders and Cujo for a fun-filled day of learning cheer chants, jumps, simple stunts, and a dance.

Sunday, Oct 9 from 2:00 – 5:00 for Pre-K thru 6th Gr.

The cost is $30. 


The China Spring Theater department will be performing Pirates of Penzance. Performances will be Oct. 30th @ 3pm & Nov. 1st, 3rd, & 5th @ 7pm. Please see the attached document for more information and a chance to order tickets and a commemorative t-shirt. Arrrrgggg.

Box Tops for Education

We are still collecting Box Tops! This year, all money collected from our Box Tops goes directly to your child’s homeroom teacher! So cut those Box Tops out and send them to school with your child.

A Big Thank You

Our A+ fundraiser was a huge success.  We were able to raise close to $10,000 for our school!  We have already started spending it on much needed supplies including, standing desks, Rubik’s Cubes, & really cool magnets.  Thank you for all the support!!

 Student drop off in the morning is located on the side of the school. The front of the school is reserved for buses and students are not allowed to be dropped off there before 7:55. The gym doors will close at 7:55 and at that time you may proceed to the front of the building to drop your child off. Thanks for your cooperation. 


FoodTruck Festival

This year PTA will be hosting another Food Truck Festival. It will be Saturday, October 29th from 4:30 – 8:30 at the Intermediate School. A flyer was sent home this week giving information, pre-selling tickets, and asking for volunteers. Contact Jana DeWitt if you would like some more information: 


Make donations in our World Wear Collection Bin at Griff’s and near our Gaga Ball pit!! This bin will earn us extra money all year long for every pound donated. Lots of items can be donated including clothing, shoes, belts, purses, wallets, hats, backpacks, toys, stuffed animals, and pots and pans. So make time to get those donations in!


Just a reminder- please check the Lost & Found for any missing items.  We donate any left items at the end of every six weeks.
